A new year, a new time
A time to screw things up, or make things right
I for one want to make things right
For each thing I have messed up
I want to make one thing right

For lying I will help someone
For gossiping I will defend someone against it

This I do as a decree to me
To help me get better
And to grow
Because growing is the best thing
That we can do for ourselves
